Scholarships and Bursaries

Overview

Since its establishment in 1986, HELP has awarded many scholarships to encourage academically inclined Malaysian and international students who display leadership qualities to pursue tertiary education at our institutions. Many of these recipients have completed their courses and have embarked on successful careers. HELP welcomes both new and continuing students of merit to apply for scholarships and study awards.

HELP offers a variety of scholarships and financial aids which include:

  • HELP IT Bursaries
  • School Achievers Scholarship Awards (SASA)
  • Special Chinese Independent Secondary School Scholarship
  • Sports Scholarships for National Sportsmen/Sportswomen
  • Packaged-Pathway Bursaries

Postgraduate Scholarships

HELP Alumni Bursary

Applicable to local and international HELP Alumni. 

Award:
15% bursary off the tuition fees for the entire programme*

*Not applicable for other promotional offer or other awards

Industry Partner Bursary (OCBC, Tan Chong Motors, KLSCCCI)

Applicable to new local and international applicants who are pursuing HELP’s postgraduate programmes.

Award
: 30% bursary off the tuition fees for the entire programme

ELM Postgraduate Bursaries

Applicable to new local and international applicants who are pursuing HELP’s postgraduate programmes except for the DBA programme.

Award:
Up to 50% bursary off the tuition fees for the entire programme

HELP-ITU Post Graduate Certificate in Software Engineering Bursary 2018

Applicable to new local and international applicants who are pursuing HELP’s Postgraduate Certificate in Software Engineering (PGCSE) programme.

Award:
20% waiver for all enrolled domestic and international students for the PGCSE programme

Study Loan

Students may also consider study and education loans such as Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional Malaysia (PTPTN) and Employee Provident Fund (EPF) withdrawal to fund for their higher education.
